Tourist Trophy moves to Goodwood

The RAC Tourist Trophy for GT cars was held at Goodwood for the first time, bringing the world's finest sports cars to Sussex. The TT would be held at Goodwood until 1964 and produced some of the most memorable races in the circuit's history, with Ferrari GTOs, Aston Martins and Jaguar E-types battling through the chicane.
