The main internal road through the Goodwood estate, providing access to Goodwood House, the hotel, the farm shop and the estate's administrative buildings. The road passes through the parkland that provides the setting for the Festival of Speed hillclimb, and during events it is closed to normal traffic and incorporated into the event infrastructure.
